     What a privilege it is to be your child's second grade teacher this year!  After twenty years of teaching, I still get excited as a new bunch of students travel through the classroom door.  It is my desire to help each one become the most successful student he or she can be.  Your child will be learning many new things this year.  We will especially be working on reading, writing , and math skills.  As your child's first and most important teacher, I hope to be working with you, the parent, to ensure that your child  has a successful second grade year.  Communication is the first key to seeing this accomplished.  If you have any concerns, feel free to call me for an appointment (573-329-6262), email me at the above address, or write a note in your child's planner.
